What the family is for
Economy PM VSD machines bring permanent magnet variable speed control into the sizes a small workshop actually needs: our range covers 7.5 kW to 37 kW with free air delivery from 0.8 to 6.8 m3/min at 8 bar. They are typically supplied as integrated packages with receiver, dryer and filtration on one frame, which suits a plant that has no compressor room and no maintenance team.
Where the saving actually comes from

What can erase the saving
- Oversizing - a 37 kW machine serving a 12 kW average runs far below its efficient range.
- Leaks - a leaky system raises demand everywhere; fix the leaks before buying efficiency.
- Pressure set too high - every extra bar costs energy across the whole system.
- Poor ventilation - a hot room forces the drive to run faster for the same output.
Service expectations
The mechanical service is broadly the same as any oil-injected screw machine: oil, oil filter, separator, inlet filter and cooler cleaning. The difference is the drive, which needs a clean, cool cabinet and a correctly calibrated pressure sensor. On a small package, a clogged inlet filter is felt immediately because the drive responds by raising speed.
