2-stage 3-5bar
Two-stage screw compressors for low-pressure, high-volume duty. Processes such as textile air, aeration and certain drying lines need large air volumes at only 3 to 5 bar, and a single-stage machine specified for that duty runs inefficiently. Splitting the compression across two rotors lets the air end work near its efficient range, and the larger displacement gives the flow those processes need, in frames up to 250 kW. If your plant currently runs 7 to 8 bar air and throttles it down to 4 bar, this is the group where the saving usually sits. Tell us the flow at the pressure you actually use.
